Caco-2 Media Recipe
Use this page for the Caco-2 media recipe used in your lab.
Purpose
This is the recipe to be used when making more media for the CaCo2 cell line.
Recipe

| DMEM | 500mL | In the Wine Lab 4° fridge |
| 10% FBS | 50mL | In the Wine Lab -20° freezer |
| 100x Antibiotics and Antimycotics | 5mL | In the Wine Lab -20° freezer |
| 100x Non-Essential Amino Acids (NEAA) | 5mL | In the Tissue Culture room fridge |
| 100x Glutamine | 5mL | In the Tissue Culture room fridge |
Procedure
- Leave 10% FBS and Antibiotics/Antimycotics out in room temperature or in Tissue Culture fridge overnight to thaw first
- Put all components directly in the 500mL DMEM bottle. Label with Name and Date.
- Put in the Tissue Culture fridge

Kept in 4° Tissue Culture room
